In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps applications on iOS in Estonia showed varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads and revenue, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw consistent download numbers throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from 711 to 987, peaking at 987 in the week of March 20. Despite the steady download trends, there was no revenue recorded for this period.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced fluctuations in its download numbers. The highest downloads were 528 in the week of December 26, 2022, while the lowest was 399 in the week of February 6. Similar to Google Maps, Waze did not generate any revenue during this quarter.

Google Earth had a varied download trend with numbers ranging from 83 to 172 downloads per week. The peak was reached in the final week of March with 172 downloads. Like the other Google app, Google Earth also recorded no revenue for this period.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav showed moderate download numbers, peaking at 91 downloads in the week of February 27. The app’s weekly revenue fluctuated slightly, with the highest being $9 in the week of January 30.

Yandex Maps & Navigator displayed a lower download range, peaking at 58 downloads in the week of January 9. The app generated some revenue, with the highest being $11 in the weeks of January 16 and March 13.
